This Is Not A Cooke Cutter Consent Reminder!
Cosplay does NOT mean consent. Costumes are for fun: they do not give anyone the right to touch, harass, or invade personal space. Never forget to obtain permission before taking photos or initiating physical contact. EVERYONE must respect these boundaries to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. To ensure that experience, HyperCon Volunteers will be on the floor at all times during the day. Remember, we’re all here to find our tribes and make amazing memories!

Welcome to HyperCon! Our mission is to celebrate fandom, creativity, and the craft of cosplay in an energetic, safe, and family-friendly environment. To ensure a seamless and secure experience for all attendees, guests, exhibitors, and crew, everyone attending HyperCon must adhere to the following costume and prop guidelines.
The HyperCon Golden Rule: Cosplay is Not Consent.
Respect personal space and boundaries at all times. Always ask for explicit permission before taking photos, recording videos, touching costumes, or initiating physical contact.
